It is time for the state mandated classroom based assessment (CBA) in Civics.

The library has been scheduled for February 23-27 for research.  Students may do research elsewhere and bring the material to school to place in their folder.

All of the writing (graphic organizer, bibliography, rough draft, and final draft), will be done IN CLASS.  It cannot be written at home and brought to school, it must be written in class.

The CBA event that will be researched is President Truman’s seizure of the steel mills in 1952.  This will be researched with a view toward whether or not the system of checks and balances was effective in this event.
